Share Warmth This Winter:
Hats, gloves, scarves, and socks can mean so much

Drive Dates: November 20 - December 14, 2018

In the frigid Pittsburgh winters, some of our neighbors do not have the basic necessities to stay warm. By donating new and unused hats, gloves, scarves, and socks for all ages, we can help our neighbors in need.

Donated items will be given to those in our community who need them most, including attendees at the annual Christmas Day at Pitt event and those identified by local partner organizations. Thank you for your kindness and generosity.

Holiday Toy Drive

The annual Community and Governmental Relations’ holiday gift drive is taking place now through Friday, December 14. Gifts will be distributed to children at Christmas Day at Pitt, the University’s annual event for those in need, and to community partners.

Gifts should be new, unopened, and have a retail value of $20 to $25. They should be wrapped as a holiday present with a visible and secure tag containing information about the appropriate age and gender for the gift.

For details and gift tags, contact CGR by email at cgrinfo@pitt.edu or phone at 624-7755. Drop off gifts at the Office of Community and Governmental Relations in 710 Alumni Hall. If you have 10 or more gifts to donate, please contact CGR to arrange for a departmental pick up.
